The scallop shell charms featured in these earrings are solid lead-free pewter, with the textured design on one side.  Scallop shell is also known as fan shell.  The charm’s 18mm length includes its loop.  Made in Greece.  

Stainless steel earring components are hypoallergenic, and generally do not cause skin irritations or allergic reactions.  It is also tarnish and rust resistant.
