Druzy Agate is a natural gemstone. Each hand-cut pendant slightly varies in size and shape.
Verdite and Turquoise are natural gemstones. Patterns and colors will vary in each bead.
This druzy agate gemstone pendant is shaped in the style of a Zuni bear. (Zuni Native American Indians are known for their “Zuni fetishes” which are small hand-carved stone animals.) The pendant has a coating of gold-finished brass along its edges, as seen in Photo #3. The reverse side of the pendant is a smooth, polished surface, as seen in Photo #4. Its 20 x 27mm measurement does not include the gold loop or bail at the top of the pendant. The Zuni bear symbolizes courage, physical strength and adaptability.
Druzy is the configuration of many tiny sparkling crystals on the surface of a gemstone. The druzy gems grow slowly over millions of years and are found as the very last layer of growth on the stone. This druzy is Agate, and it has been dyed a rich brown color. It is said that druzy agate purifies and amplifies the body’s natural healing properties and strengthens the spirit.
