These drop earrings feature the Virgo Maiden or Virgin symbol, or glyph, which is meant to resemble a Maiden carrying a shaft of wheat. The symbol is an “M” shape with a swirled loop. The loop is said to represent three different paths, all of which end up circling back to the beginning. This can be interpreted as never-ending life and rebirth, or simply the natural cycle of life.
The round charms are solid lead-free pewter, with the Virgo symbol on one side. The charm’s 18mm length includes its loop. Made in Greece.
