Paua is a natural shell. Patterns and colors will vary in each pendant.
The natural paua shell within this pendant creates an iridescent display of beautiful colors marked with black accents. Since paua shell is one of nature’s beautiful creations, no two are alike! The shell is encased and protected with a clear covering of acrylic, which also creates a nice sheen. The pendant is one-sided with black resin on the back, as seen in the third photo. Made in New Zealand. An alternate pendant is shown in the fifth photo, to show the shell’s variation.
The rich, deep black oval beads are made of Black Obsidian. It is said to be a very quick acting and protective gemstone. It is believed to act as a shield against negativity and to absorb negative energy from the environment.
The light green round beads are made of Green Aventurine.
